Bowen Marshall, MA, LPC (he/him/his) is a licensed professional therapist and lecturer in the Ohio State Counselor Education Program. His main focus in clinical practice is helping clients access and attain their own personal sense of well-being and make growth-oriented meaning of their life experiences. He believes that spirituality and faith can be powerful, affirming, and healing forces in a person’s life but also knows they have been used to marginalize, belittle, and harm many members of the LGBTQIAA+ community. Bowen comes to the work of spirituality as a member of the LGBTQIAA+ community who believes that tackling the issues of spirituality and faith can be some of the most rewarding and challenging work of our lives.
