Harry Warner, M.A., LPCC-S

Harry Warner, M.A., LPCC-S (he/him/his) therapeutic approach is grounded in existential

philosophy as he believes illuminating our purpose and meaning in life is foundational to

change and growth. Too often we live our lives guided by the expectations and narratives that

others put upon us. When we realize that we are the authors to the story of life, wonderful

things begin to happen.   Harry received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development

and Family Science and his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling both from The Ohio

State University.  Harry specializes in supporting gay men and believes, “while many of our

problems are the same as any person, gay men have a unique way of experiencing ourselves and the world from growing up and living as gay men. Concerns are often tied to not having complete clarity about who we want to be and what we want our lives to be about. We will work together to create a deeper understanding of yourself and to clarify your values and what is important to you so that you can conscientiously create the life you desire.” The interventions Harry uses in session are integrative and typically focus in the interpersonal and cognitive. He is trained in EMDR and can use this treatment to aid in healing from traumatic experiences. Harry’s clients can also expect to have conversations about general wellness strategies in order to address concerns holistically.
