ABBEY CARTER LOGAN, CO-OWNER AND CO-EXECTUIVE DIRECTOR

Abbey L. Carter Logan, LPCC-S, (she/her/hers) is a cisgender, queer, white woman, and mother in a mixed-orientation marriage. She co-owns and co-leads Clintonville Counseling and Wellness with a clear mission: to ensure Queer and Trans individuals receive the affirming, competent mental health care they deserve.

As Co-Executive Director, Abbey is focused on keeping CCW a thriving, inclusive space for counseling and education. Her vision centers on closing the gap in mental health services, especially for BiPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, by fostering environments that are equitable, welcoming, and deeply affirming. As a clinician Abbey focuses on embodiment as the path to healing. She is trained in irest yoga nidra, meditation, 200 hr yoga teaching, dancing mindfulness, nervous system energy work, and reiki. While she is not currently accepting new therapy clients, these practices inform her counseling and leadership work.

Abbey’s leadership is rooted in the values of collaboration and connection, influenced by her work with the Ohio Rest Collective and Level Up Leadership. These approaches have helped shape her human-centered, trauma-informed leadership style, which emphasizes groundedness, internal wisdom, and shared growth.
Beyond her leadership at CCW, Abbey is dedicated to advocacy, consultation, and community-building. She offers support and training to clinicians, group practice owners, and emerging leaders, focusing on self-care and delivering the highest standard of care to LGBTQIA2S+ clients.
As a human outside of the office Abbey can be found resting, while enjoying life and her family, reading all kinds of books, and walking in the woods, often hugging trees.
