BLAKE MILLER, LSW

Blake Miller, MSW, LSW (He/Him/His) is a cisgender, white, gay, neurodivergent, tall-bodied, married male. Blake seeks to create a collaborative and supportive environment for individuals to explore and challenge their perspectives on life by adapting therapy to each person’s context and needs.
Blake is excited to work with clients with a variety of backgrounds and identities. Blake’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, religious trauma, and working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. He utilizes a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach that incorporates elements of mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
Blake received his Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree from the Ohio State University in 2016 and Master of Social Work in 2025. He had field placements in a health and wellness program providing case management to resettled refugees and mental health therapy at CCW. Before getting his MSW, Blake worked in social work administration at an affordable senior housing and services nonprofit where he managed projects and funding compliance, supervised a team, and provided clinical support to field staff. While he resonated with this mission, Blake realized he missed working directly with people in a supportive setting which led him to becoming a mental health therapist.
Outside of work, Blake enjoys traveling with his husband, exploring breweries and coffeeshops with friends, walking his rescue dog in local metro parks, and advocating for full LGBTQ+ inclusion in various spaces.
