COUNSELOR SUPERVISION

Alexis Rae Burrow, M.A., LPCC-S (she/her/hers) has worked in mental health treatment with adults for over 15 years. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from The Ohio State University. She has been employed as a clinician, supervisor, and educator, in community mental health agencies, private practices, and universities. Alexis believes in a collaborative approach that focuses on individual needs and goals.

 

Alexis has specialized training in Dancing Mindfulness, and is certified as a facilitator. Alexis is a Certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified Expressive Arts therapist, and a Sex Therapist. In 2012 she received The Outstanding Doctoral Student in Mental Health Counseling Award from The Ohio State University specifically for her work in supervising students during their first practicum and internship experiences in Community Counseling. Alexis has been supervising counselors getting their independent licensure for over 7 years and is expanding her skill set by becoming an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.

 

Alexis is immediately available for individual and group supervision for those professionals seeking EMDR Consultation and/or independent licensure or supervisory credential.
