INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Clintonville Counseling and Wellness is now accepting applications for our 2025 Counseling Practicum! This is a one semester placement with the ability to extend into a second year clinical internship. This placement offers practical clinical training in the fields of counseling, behavioral health, and social human services for Counselor Education students pursuing their first practicum experience.

This position offers shadowing opportunities and first hand experience in clinical mental health counseling with individuals, groups, and relationships. As a queer affirming practice, interns will provide care to members for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Applicants with prior experience or a strong interest in working with this population are preferred. Students will also receive training and experience in case consultation, case management, and a variety of psychotherapy modalities.

Weekly individual and group supervision are provided. Practicum students are contracted for 10-18 hours per week throughout their training period based on requirements of their program.
