Daylen Johnson, MSW, LSW (he/him/his) is a Black, queer, neurodivergent, chronically ill, man. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and his Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University. He believes that the most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship with his clients.

Day believes being able to express oneself authentically without the constraints of social norms in professional settings encourages clients to be present in their nervous system.
As a marginalized person, he recognizes the importance of addressing systemic harm such as white supremacy, patriarchy, and classism.
Day has experience with a variety of different mental health settings. He has worked in residential, outpatient, and inpatient settings for all ages ranging from children to adults.
His experiences and skills derive from a lens of strength based, mind-body, neurodivergent friendly, anti-oppressive and trauma informed approaches.
In Day’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his big orange cat and checking out new food spots around the city.
