Reyna Lusson, MSW, LISW (she/they) believes the foundation of therapy is the authentic relationship between the therapist and client. Since receiving her Master of Social Work in 2021, she has been providing affirming care to the LGBTQ+ community. She often rests on her lived experience with polyamory, grief, chronic illness, and disordered eating as a lens for understanding and connection.
While they are trained as a generalist clinician, Reyna particularly enjoys helping clients navigate substance use, grief and loss, neurodivergence, and interpersonal relationship concerns. Additionally, Reyna is a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and is passionate about helping people shift their relationship to food and body image.
Reyna’s goal is to challenge and celebrate you as you navigate the messy work of healing. She integrates techniques from Somatics, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotions-Focused Therapy (EFT), and other approaches in order to provide care that is individually-tailored to each client’s needs. In your work together, you can expect to uncover the roots of your struggles, build trust with your body, move into greater alignment with your values, and break out of cycles that keep you stuck.
Reyna is a white, bisexual, straight-sized individual. She believes that our identities have a profound impact on how we move through the world, and strives to foster an inclusive and anti-oppressive therapy environment.
