Reyna Lusson, LSW

Reyna Lusson, MSW, LISW (she/they) is a queer, non-binary, straight-sized white person. Since receiving her Master of Social Work, she has been working with the LGBTQ+ and HIV+ communities, providing harm-reduction focused substance use treatment. Prior to this, Reyna studied City and Regional Planning with a focus on food justice.

Reyna is a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and is passionate about helping people experiencing disordered eating shift their relationship to food and self-image. While they enjoy working with a wide range of clients, they specialize in treating disordered eating, substance use, executive dysfunction, and gender-related concerns. Reyna’s approach to therapy is eclectic and strengths-based, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Intuitive Eating.

Reyna understands how challenging and vulnerable therapy can be, and seeks to meet her clients with warmth, compassion, and humor. She strives to be anti-racist in her social work practice and daily life. Outside of work you can find her reading, crafting, spending time with loved ones, and playing with her dogs Samson and Frankie.
